Sabbir Hosen Joy
WHO I AM

Building intelligent systems from complex ideas.

I’m Sabbir Hosen, a Computer Science & Engineering graduate and software engineer passionate about turning complex ideas into reliable, intelligent software. My journey started with a strong foundation in CSE, where I developed a deep interest in software engineering, artificial intelligence, and problem-solving.

Since then, I’ve worked on real-world systems including AI-powered applications, intelligent automation, scalable backend architectures, microservices, and full-stack platforms.

Take complex problems, understand them deeply, and turn them into elegant, reliable systems.

Featured Projects

My most technically significant work, built before and beside university.

Street Bot

Intelligent Vehicle Safety & Collision Prevention System

A vehicle-safety robot I built before university. It measures the distance to a vehicle or object ahead and responds in stages: warning, gradual slowing, and braking only at a critical distance.

Honorable Mention — 3rd Bangladesh Robot Olympiad Participant — 23rd Bangladesh Robot Olympiad

A prototype robotics project, not a production-ready or certified automotive braking system.

Automatic Water Tank Safety Controller

Contactless IoT Water Level & Pump Safety System

A household water-pump controller built around safety. A waterproof ultrasonic sensor measures the water level from above, so no sensing wires or contacts sit in the water.

Contactless sensing, automatic pump control, IoT monitoring. Designed to reduce electrical exposure to the water, not claimed to be completely risk-free.

University Projects

C-based data-structure and algorithm projects from my CSE studies.

Land Management System

C-based land records & tax management

A C-based land management system developed to organize land records, calculate land taxes, and keep track of land-related transactions. Features a menu-driven interface with linked list, stack, and queue implementations.

Early Projects & Experiments

Where it started: small builds that introduced me to sensors, Arduino, and embedded systems.

Early Making & Crafting

Where it began

Before working with electronics and robotics, I started by building simple physical models and hands-on creations, including cardboard mechanical models such as an excavator. These early experiments helped develop my interest in building, experimenting, and turning ideas into physical prototypes.

Laser Light Security

Class 7–10 · Early project

A laser light on one side and an LDR sensor on the opposite side. The beam continuously reached the LDR; if an object or person passed between them, the beam was interrupted, the system detected it, and it could trigger an alarm or warning. One of my early experiments with sensors, light detection, simple automation, and security systems.

Laser light LDR sensor Alarm / warning

Arduino Ultrasonic Sensing

Around Class 7 · Learning project

An ultrasonic/sonar sensor connected to an Arduino and a laptop. When a person or object passed in front of the sensor, the system detected it, displayed/blinked an indicator, and showed the object's distance. Built to understand ultrasonic sensing, distance measurement, Arduino programming, and real-time sensor data.

Accident Detection Alert

Early embedded-systems prototype

An early prototype that detected whether a vehicle had been in an accident or moved into an abnormal orientation. An auxiliary/accelerometer-type sensor read how far the vehicle had tilted from its normal orientation; on an abnormal condition such as overturning, the system could send an SMS to a previously saved phone number.
